!Hola¡, and welcome to the El Chavo Kart walkthrough. El Chavo Kart is a kart racer from the kosher Mexican El Chavo: Animated Series. Many of the characters from the show are playable characters in the game. This game holsters 46 achievements, all of which are offline, for a total for 1,000 Gamerscore.

If you have played other kart racers, this game will feel comfortable to you. Let's dive in, shall we?

El Chavo Kart - General hints and tips

Now before we go recklessly revving that engine, let's look at a couple hints and tips. It's important to remember the following at all times:

  • Rubberbanding is a serious issue. If you find yourself in first place, always prepare to be fighting back for that top spot.

  • Certain achievements can only be unlocked in the Challenges game mode. I will specify which ones and how to obtain them in the walkthrough.

  • Like many other kart racers, positioning matters when it comes to picking up items from crates. Don't expect any boost items while cruising in first place.

  • Piñatas seem to be really hard to come across. If you get one, make sure you make the shot count since there is an achievement associated with piñata hits.

  • Maps are unlocked through completing Challenges and characters are unlocked through achieving either gold or platinum trophies when winning Cups.

  • It wouldn't hurt to make a back-up save for the game, since there are buggy auto-saves that could potentially cause frustration when it comes to unlocking achievements.

  • There is a known glitch when going for one of the achievements associated with unlocking all of the characters. I will specify in the walkthrough, but it is VERY important to know of the glitch's existence.

  • The game saves to your Gamertag. You will not find any save data in the cloud or memory on the console. The game auto-saves and all the data is attached to your Gamertag. This is good since the game data is pretty much nonexistent, but is also very bad if you run into any auto-save fails, game freezes, or glitches when unlocking characters. This could result in glitched achievements, making them unobtainable to the gamer.

  • You will need four controllers for one achievement. If you don't have four, use any peripherals you may have. (ie: Guitar Hero/Rock Band guitars, drums, steering wheels, etc.)

Now that we have that out of the way, it's time to do some racing! (I hope you're excited.)

El Chavo Kart - Challenges

Let's start off our gaming experience by diving right into the challenges. You'll notice right away that the challenges are done in order. You can't move on to the next challenge until after completing the previous one. Most of the challenges are no problem, but there will be the occasional one that has you frustrated for a couple of attempts. It's important to never give up, especially since there are multiple achievements associated with completing all the challenges. The first one, "Heavy Traffic" can score you the next two achievements.

- Simply hold in El Chavo Kart Walkthrough (3) to boost. Once the drift enters into it's third level, release the trigger. The fire behind the kart changes color. Once it's red, it's in the third level. Simple.

Go on, just go on.

Accumulate the 3rd level of turbo by drifting in a challenge.

- This achievement is exclusive to the map Chavoltopec. Before exiting the tunnel, look to your right. There will be an alternate route. Go off the jump and you should unlock:

Under Construction!

Jump over the bridge under construction in the city in a challenge.

The second challenge, "Crazy Accelorators", is a good time to get the following two achievements. If you don't unlock them in this challenge, do not fret. There will be plenty of opportunites to get them.

- Once drafting behind a racer, there will be a wind sensation. Tail them until you boost past them to unlock:

Excuse me, says Raymond!

Overtake another driver using the wind tunnel up until the last moment in a challenge.

- Tapping El Chavo Kart Walkthrough (15) or El Chavo Kart Walkthrough (16) on the El Chavo Kart Walkthrough (17) gives you the opportunity to ram an opponent. Sooner or later you will land one, which unlocks:

I'm not giving you another one!

- The sixth challenge, "The Chosen Barrel", has an achievement tied to it. On the soccer/football field, there will be a sea of red exclamation point barrels. Among the hundreds of red barrels, there will be one ordinary barrel. With a keen eye, find the regular barrel and smash it without touching ANY of the other barrels to unlock:

The Best "Jogador."

Win the challenge The Chosen Barrel without touching any explosive barrels. Main player only.

- More than likely, you will unlock other achievements as you continue to complete challenges. It's hard to predict which you could unlock, but a list of all the miscellaneous achievements can be found in the "Cumulative" section of this walkthrough. Keep on trucking through all the challenges, as hard as some of them can be, and you will eventually unlock:

That's it!

Complete all the El Chavo Kart´s Challenges.

Challenges are done! Now we get to move on to the Cups.

El Chavo Kart - Cups

Winning cups results in unlocking new characters. Receiving a gold or platinum trophy in a cup usually unlocks a character. It's important to realize that each cup does not grant it's victor with a fresh new character. There are five characters to be unlocked. Regardless, there are still achievements associated with platinuming each cup. It's also important to add that if you're losing in a cup, you can exit to the main menu in the middle of a race and the game will save at the last race you participated in, since the game has no "restart race" option.

Choose whichever character you like and hop into the first cup.

El Chavo Cup

- If you successfully finish the second race of this cup without running into any of the cyclists, this will pop:

Avoiding Fatigue.

Avoid crashing into the cyclists and win in the Tangamandapio track. Main player only.

Professor Girafalde Cup

- On the second race of this cup, there will be a tunnel. A little ways into the tunnel there are two purple chests. If you ram into one of them, there is a chance that bats will attack an opponent behind you. If they do, you'll get an achievement. If not, you can always go back into exhibition later on.

He's gonna get scared!

Make another driver crash into the bats in the Castle track. Main player only.

***** Mr. Beliarge Cup ****

- This cup has a known glitch. Achieving a gold in this cup will result in unlocking a character named Paty. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get a gold medal before getting a platinum. It is almost guaranteed that the achievement to unlock all characters will glitch if you don't achieve a gold medal on this cup before revisiting it for a platinum. Get a gold medal on this cup, then come back later to get the platinum, unlocking:

Rent Collected.

Win the Platinum Mr. Beliarge Cup.

- The cups will continue to get harder, but it's still not too challenging to platinum the 7th cup, and when you do, you'll get:

Win the Platinum Quico Cup.

Ruffino Meanface Cup

- This cup is the hardest to platinum. The section of this cup where you have to collect 100 coins can be frustrating. The best tip I can offer is to stay behind the pack and take your time collecting coins. There is no prize for driving fast, just collecting the fastest. If you must, pause the game and exit to the main menu if the other opponents are close to winning. Just pop back into the cup and pick up where you left off. Eventually, a platinum here unlocks:

Gold Tooth.

Win the Platinum Ruffino Meanface Cup.

El Chavo Kart - Exhibition

I recommend that you do these achievements after completing both the challenges and cups, so that all of the games characters and tracks are unlocked. This section will be organized based on the track you should/have to use to get the achievements. At the bottom there will be an entire section dedicated to just getting the gold badges.

Acapulco

- Load up an extreme difficulty race. During the race, there will be men jogging in place holding briefcases inside of the hotel. If you manage to hit two of them during the three lap race and win, you'll get this achievement:

Going on vacation!

Hit 2 hotel bellboys in Acapulco and win a race on Extreme. Main player only.

Brazil Maracana

- Set a race to extreme and select Gordon as a character. Gordon is a fast character with not-so-great handling. This achievement is for not hitting any of the walls/borders in a single race. The best advice I can give is to limit your jumping and drifting. I would only drift around corners that are wide. This achievement can be frustrating and will probably take multiple attempts. Eventually, you'll unlock this:

I didn't do it!

Win a race on Extreme when playing as Gordon without touching the track's borders. Main player only.

- For this achievement you have to win a race by only looking in rear mode during the entire race. As soon as the race loads up, hold or tape El Chavo Kart Walkthrough (84) down during the entire race. If you let off of the button at all, the achievement won't unlock, and you'll have to restart. I would imagine that this achievement would be the easiest to get on this track since you'll have learned it pretty well after attempting the previous achievement. If you have a local friend, they could split-screen and ride behind the person going for the achievement, essentially giving the other player a screen to race on. Either way, this is your prize:

Retrospective.

Win a race while using the rear view the whole time. Main player only.

Castle of 71

- Set up an exhibition race on extreme difficulty. The catrinas start to spawn around lap two of the race. When they spawn there is a noticeable green bubbling area on the ground. They are purple and green looking witches with skulls for heads. Run into two of the catrinas, but don't use items on them. In order for the achievement to pop, you have to actually hit two of them with your kart and win the race.

Day of the dead.

Hit a Catrina twice in the castle and win a race on Extreme. Main player only.

The Funfair

- For this next achievement, all you have to do is win a race without hitting any obstacles/hazards on the road on Extreme difficulty. It's fairly easy to avoid obstacles on this track. Don't fall off the track, or run into any items or hazards laying in the middle of the road. If another racer hits you with an item, restart the race. Picking up item crates and touching the walls of the track are perfectly fine. If done correctly you should unlock:

Too bad.

Win a race while avoiding obstacles in any track on Extreme. Main player only.

Gold Badges

Badges earned in a race can be viewed in the screen that pops up after the race ends. It has five badges on it with point values next to each. Gold badges are tricky to obtain while racing. In most cases, it is easier just to boost for the gold badges. In order to receive a gold badge, you first have to get "X" amount of points in a single category. The five categories are: Shooting, Ramming, Jumping, Drifting, and Defense. Points toward badges pop up in-game whenever you do anything that goes toward a badge category. For example, if you drift, you will earn points. I earned about 400 point in Drifting and was awarded a gold badge for it, so the overall amount of points necessary is large. I would say that it's safe to assume that 400 points will earn you a gold medal in just about any of the five categories. There is no way to track how many points you have in a single sitting, which makes these achievements all about patience and luck. You do have to finish the race to earn badges.

- For boosting, I recommend an exhibition normal race playing as Mrs. Worthmore with at least one other controller playing as Professor Girafalde on the track Pueblito. By having three other controllers plugged in, you will be giving yourself free targets to jump on. (Be sure to jump on the controller playing as Mrs. Worthmore for an achievement.) A Successful succession of jumps atop a racer's head will grant more points (and an achievement) in the Jumping category, as well as the Ramming category. Do not worry about winning the race, it is not necessary. This track is long and has many places to drift. There are cyclists and animals on parts of the track that are easy to earn defense points on if you have a pillow or horn item. Since you will be spending the entire race in last place, a lot of helpful items can be used to score you shooting points. Try for around 400 points in all categories in a single race and this achievement should be yours:

(I'm not sure why the achievement title specifies eight when there are only five categories.)

Now you've earned all eight!

Earn all the gold badges. Main player only.

- For this achievement load up the Mr. Raymond Cup and the first race should take place on the Brazil Maracana track. (It has a soccer/football field.) Don't worry about winning this race and just drift around the soccer field for at least 30-40 of the third-tier drifts. (That's when the fire turns red on the back of your cart.) Once you feel like you got enough points to earn you a gold medal in drifting, finish the race. The achievement will pop when the race ends.

Are you earning merits?

El Chavo Kart - Cumulative achievements

These are achievements that are possible to not already have after completing all the challenges and platinuming all the cups. It's no trouble if you haven't unlocked these yet, because re-racing is never an issue.

- You should definitely have this before completing all the challenges alone.

As the description states, you're going to have to hit him 50 times. I suggest going into an exhibition game and just hovering over him until the achievement pops.
